Is LVP the same as vinyl flooring?

LVP (Luxury Vinyl Plank) is a premium type of vinyl flooring with a realistic wood-look top layer, a thick middle core for rigidity, and often an attached underlayment — making it far superior to traditional vinyl flooring.
